Biojewellery
Project info

This 3-year project sought to harvest cells from couples, culture them, and use them in combination with precious metals to make jewellery.

The identity we developed spelt out the 7 stages using a series of concentric rings. These symbolised the growth of the cells and also the rings that would be the final outcome. We printed these circles using a metallic ink to reference the jewellery on to a high-gloss paper to reflect the laboratory conditions. The exhibition, designed in collaboration with André Klauser, showed the material using photographic film and bespoke lightboxes.

The project comprised identity, invitation, mailer, poster, catalogue and exhibition.
