Running as part of the London Architecture Biennale, this judged exhibition on display in the offices of Building Design Partnership featured innovations in school design. It showcased 14 London-based projects from architects including Richard Rogers Partnership, AOC Architects and What Architecture. Our brief was to unify the submissions to create a coherent exhibition that would appeal to the industry, the public and groups of school children.

Chalk-coloured panels displaying each scheme were mounted onto blackboards, and the identity, introductory text, sponsors logos and captions were chalk-written. The typeface used for the identity was derived from looking at marks we could make using the chalk, and the text was rendered in joined-up writing.
