We recently won a five-way pitch to design the identity for this international exhibition project. Entitled My City, the exhibition will coincide with Istanbul’s appointment as European City of Culture and will encourage cultural exchange between Turkey and Europe. Five European artists, including Mark Wallinger from the UK, will be making and displaying work in one of five Turkish cities. In addition, Turkish artists have been invited to exhibit works in some of Europe’s leading cultural venues. We also designed a range of printed material, and designed and developed a database-driven dual-language website. The project was undertaken for the British Council and funded by the EU.
